Glacier Cruise
We took a trip to a glacier that involved a cruise. Above is one of the spectacular mountains we saw from the boat. Below are two signs we saw on a hiking trail to a waterfall. The first sign says, Welcome, Natural path saltillo of the Nalcas; 1.800 mts, time 30 minutes. The second sign, further up the trail, says, Learn from Cats bury your crap. The waterfall, shown here - top and bottom view - is about 120 meters high.
Tronador Mountain and glacier
The next two pictures are of Tronador Mountain and glacier. Below is Black Glacier. This is black because of the wind deposited vocanic dust. Next to the black glacier is a picture of an ice fall that lasted about two full minutes. The final picture is the same scene, but after the ice fall finished. Very exciting to see.
